Bagh print is a striking hand-block printing technique that originates from the heart of Madhya Pradesh. Crafted with precision. the process begins with hand-woven cotton fabric. which is soaked in a mix of goat dung. castor oil. and natural tannins to enhance dye absorption. Using intricately carved wooden blocks. artisans stamp mesmerizing geometric and floral motifs. inspired by nature and tribal art. The fabric is then dyed in deep reds and blacks. derived from alizarin and iron acetate. before being washed in flowing river water to set the colors. The result is a bold. earthy textile that carries the soul of tradition and the rhythm of the Narmada River.
